Keeping up on new and emerging trends informs the patterns I create. Taking cues from fashion, electronics, and home goods, I create mood boards to show the inspiration for the designs.

Around the Hounds is a fashion dog collar company. I created versions of the logo for general use, holidays, and special editions. I also created the tag system to tell quickly which collar size is correct and how to care for and adjust the collars and leads. I designed fabric patterns for the collars so that the line would be unique from the competition and have a recognizable look.

At Whirlpool each brand has an icon style and robust set. As part of the design I write guidelines so the icon style stays consistent and can be sized based on use.
