Interfaces
Designing interfaces for kitchen products starts with developing a brand language that includes fonts, colors, button shapes, lcd screens, hierarchy, and patterns. Then a full suite system is created.

I work on interface graphics across kitchen suites including lit and screened versions, and knob graphics. This includes font and color choices, icon creation, grouping elements, and usability considerations.
Documentation is key to successful translation by the production team, and for unity in application among products in a suite.
I developed large-scale posters to show the elements “apples-to-apples” that differentiate the graphics across the portfolio of brands.
Comparing the details of different brands in the portfolio are important to make sure each brand is hitting targets such as simple, intuitive, or fully-featured.
To address the gaps in segment fonts when using common configurations, I created new masks that use unique shapes for nicer aesthetic characters. Also I designed weights of dot matrix fonts for better hierarchy.
I designed a series of screens representing some of the most common functions to make sure a design looks good when applied to sitemap scenarios.
